Olive Green Cottage Wedding Invitations.

The composition brings together a pale olive card with bold dark lettering, cottage and landscape sketches and loose decorative edges. The printed effect comes from letterpress, 3d appliqué. Its strongest physical detail is that the hand-drawn house scene gives the invitation a specific place and an informal, countryside mood. Edges and surface texture play as much a role as the printed artwork. New artwork and material choices would give a related piece its own identity while retaining the tactile direction that makes this format appealing.
