A CLOSER LOOK

Paper with a purpose.

At first glance, the focus is a narrow white bookmark held in the hand, combining black type with a finely drawn figure. The print and finishing approach uses letterpress. The arrangement is effective because the slim shape gives the detailed drawing a clear vertical path, while the pressed impression adds physical texture. Paper weight and small lettering matter together when this format is handled rather than only viewed. Its combination of type, color and tactile finish is a useful starting point for a made-to-order piece.
