Deckle Edge Sake Labels with Red and Gold Calligraphy.

The photographed label roll shows black and gold Chinese lettering on warm paper above a dark wine-colored border. The supplied production notes identify 85g papiers de chine washed paper with foil stamping, embossing. Seen at the size of an applied label, the torn-paper character and compact metallic details give the sake label a handmade impression. Its photographed repeat also makes the spacing between labels and the balance of image and small type easy to judge. Visible marks belong to this sample design; a new edition would use approved project artwork. For a new project, the customer artwork and label format would be agreed before production.
