A CLOSER LOOK

Paper with a purpose.

Archive cards present craft objects through a shaped window and raised-looking Chinese-style sleeve. Filigree fans, the Nine-Dragon Wall and covered bridges appear as subjects, each with a short story on an inner card. The series lets the object image lead before the reader reaches the explanatory text. This is a useful exhibition format when the aim is to bring traditional techniques close to visitors through a small, handled record rather than a large display label.
