War of the Worlds Letterpress Bookplates.

Classic science-fiction imagery is reworked as a set of compact bookplates. Detailed monochrome illustrations sit inside small bordered panels, with rough-looking edges that echo old print ephemera. The original project draws on public-domain illustrations associated with H. G. Wells's “The War of the Worlds.” Letterpress printing gives the lines a physical impression, adding texture to imagery already rich in atmosphere. The cards can mark a private library, accompany a book edition, or be collected as miniature art prints by readers who enjoy the visual history of science fiction.
