A CLOSER LOOK
Made for the moment.
This piece presents an invitation suite combining a brown printed card with a dark circular vinyl-record insert. The printed effect comes from letterpress, foil stamping. The design is distinctive because the record shape presents a music-led event theme before the location and date are read. The piece works as an object, with its edge, surface and smaller lettering all contributing to the result. The format offers a starting point for a separately designed label, card or printed object with its own content and proportions.
